Orientation on Entrepreneurship Program in GST Profession at BGS First Grade College, Mysuru 

Team of experts from EduElevate, Bangalore, lead by its Managing Director Mr. Karthik Kumar and the Directors – Prof. Shankar Narayana Rao and Dr. Srivats R addressed the students on the entrepreneurship & employment opportunities in GST Profession.

Mr. Karthik Kumar took an interactive session and made the students to participate in the program. 6 students appeared on the stage and explained the role of their parents as entrepreneurs in different jobs. It is very interesting to note that if an entrepreneur employs one person, he supports a minimum of 4 persons of the family of the employee in addition to the family members of the entrepreneur. This point was well addressed by Mr. Karthik Kumar and students were made to understand how entrepreneurs can create jobs and in return how he will support a large number of families of his employees. He urged the students to become more enterprising, courageous, adventurous and risk bearers so that each one of them can become an entrepreneur in one or the other areas of knowledge.

Prof. Shankar Narayana Rao, Director, EduElevate enlightened the students about the ample opportunities thrown open by the Govt of India to the graduates of Commerce & Management in the GST domain. He informed the students to pursue their career as GST Practitioners to fulfill their dreams. He explained the minimum qualifications required and the procedure to become a GST Practitioner.
